The International Federation of Balloon Professionals is a not-for-profit association of balloon artists and professionals worldwide dedicated to:
The engine driving the federation is a movement of artists sharing the same passion for balloon art and believing in serving a world bigger than themselves.
By acting in concert we bring together the voices of all balloon artists. We care, we act and we all matter.
The goal of the Federation is to activate and nurture this movement by establishing a structure with clear member-driven goals and measurable outcomes that support the community; promulgating guidelines for critical areas of the balloon industry; protecting the global interests of the balloon industry; providing an inclusive forum for concerns of artists of all backgrounds.
Work groups focus on specialized topics and are where much of the visionary growth of the Federation happens.
Environment
The Environment work group studies and educates about the environmental footprint and impact of balloons to establish recommend “green balloon practices”.
Health & Safety
The Health & Safety work group researches and promulgates knowledge of how working with balloons affects our health, and how to enjoy a long and safe career as a balloon professional.
Humanitarian & Artistic
Our greatest gift is to share our humanitarian and artistic efforts with the rest of mankind. The members of this work group support and promulgate outreach and artistic endeavors.
Education
The experts collaborating in the Education work group bring together the best practices and techniques to improve the global level of all balloon artists.
Competitions & Events
The numerous balloon conventions, conferences, seminars, and competitions all join together in the Competitions & Events work group.
World Records
The Word Records work group tracks the numerous categories and variations of records in the balloon industry.
